Soap dies in copper alloy
Our supply of soap dies for 90g soap.
The material used for production is high-quality copper alloy, against a higher cost than brass estimated around 10% has significant advantages, in fact it is more used in our production when customer, stamper or particular production choices require maximum cooling efficiency.
This higher efficiency is due to the high thermal conductivity of the copper compared to other material used frequently for die set production: Copper 395k (W/m°C) – Brass Cu 70% Zn30% 116k (W/m°C) – Bronze Cu75%, Sn 25% 26K (w/m°C) these features allow a better cooling and a greater speed of stamping or, in case of lower productions, an energy saving due to reduced used of the cooling system.
The typical color of the copper is not visible in the photo because the die set is already finished and covered with our exclusive anti-wear and non-stick Niflon treatment.
In details this supply is for copper alloy die set for Soaptec press MFS-6 composed of upper and lower half dies with 7 cavities, no.2 rectified holding plates with oxidation treatment , no. 1 trimmer in brass material complete with Nilfon treatment and, to complete the set, specific suction cups, air and water connectors and dowel pins.
